Review: Lorac Pro Palette 2

This is the Lorac Pro Palette 2 and let me just say that this was a spontaneous buy. I wasn't too sure if I wanted to purchase this in the first place because I gravitate towards warm tone shades. As soon as I took a swatch of  Jade and Rose, I had to have it simply for those two. The size is the same as the first Pro Palette, has the same texture as the first palette's eyeshadows, and it also comes with 16 eyeshadows (eight matte and eight shimmer). I would say this palette leans more on the cool-toned side. I'll list a short description of each shade down below.

 Top Row
Buff - yellow beige (it's a tad more yellow than my skin color)
Light Brown - light, pinky brown
Cool Gray - taupe gray
Nectar - light peach
Plum - medium/dark toned purple
Navy - dark toned blue
Charcoal - medium toned gray
Black - medium/dark black (same black in the first Pro Palette)

Bottom Row
Snow - frosty white
Beige - frosty, light peach
Rose - light, metallic copper
Mocha - frosty, reddish brown
Chrome - frosty, medium toned drown
Silver - light/medium toned, metallic silver
Jade - satin, medium/dark toned forest green
Cocoa - medium/dark toned red-brown

OVERALL: It's a nice palette, but I don't see it as a gotta have. Jade and Rose are my favorite colors out of the palette, but I would have been more excited about them if they were single eyeshadows (like how Urban Decay did with a few of their eyeshadows from the Naked palettes). Let's just say that if I were to hit pan on this palette, I most likely wouldn't re-purchase.

June Favorites

It's crazy to think that this year is half way over already. During the month of June, I've been working a ton and haven't really been making this blog a priority. I am happy to say though that I've put together a lot of blog posts and will be posting more beauty and non beauty things in the coming months! Now enough with the chit chat and onto the good stuff!
Talk about heaven on your skin! This is the Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash. About two months ago, I was looking for a good "drugstore" exfoliator that wouldn't break the bank. When I came across this at Target, the smell alone is what won me over. It reminded me of the Bath and Body Works 'Warm Vanilla Sugar' scent, but stronger and better. It's not a "strong" exfoliator, but it's good enough to where you can tell that it's working.
This is my third bottle and needless to say that I can NOT live without this. In case you've never heard of this, it's the TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer. It helps protect your hair against the heat of your curler, straightener, ect., so that you don't damage it as much as you would without it. Do your self a favor and BUY THIS! You will see a difference in your hair within a couple weeks.
This is my favorite perfume of all time! This is the Sexy Little Things Tease Scented Body Mist by Victoria's Secret. Victoria's Secret's website describes this scent as a warm blend of black vanilla, frozen pear, and blooming gardenia. I get complimented every time I wear this scent. Right now, Victoria's Secret is having a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE on all of their body mists so two big bottles are only $25! I've already bought this and their Very Sexy body mist as well.
This is by far the best BB cream I've ever used. It blends with my skin perfectly! This is Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 Beauty Balm Skin Protector (I know, it's a mouth full). This BB cream says it will blur imperfections, enhances, brightens, adjusts to skin-tone, hydrates, SPF 30 protects (which is the best part!), and has 0% oils and other heavy ingredients. It's light weight, but it also gives some coverage.

If you want a natural looking glow, then this is the blush for you! When I get ready for work, this is the blush that I mainly grab for. The swatch that I gave is from doing two or three swipes of it. This is blush is by Physician's Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boasting Blush in Natural. Now I'm not sure if the blush actually boosts your mood and makes you happy, but it does give you a natural glow on your cheeks.

Milani came out with these baked bronzers about a month or two ago and I've only seen this either on their website or at Walgreens (which is where I bought this from). This is in the shade 08 Sunset. At my local Walgreens they have about eight or nine different shades you can choose from.
I picked this bronzer because it's matte. Even if there is only a little shimmer in it, it's not that noticeable. The texture of it is very smooth and almost creamy because of how smooth it is.
I purchased this at Walgreens for $8-9.
This is the Nyx Collection Noir Liquid Black Liner and this is my holy grail liquid liner! It has a thin brush and the liner doesn't smudge on me. This is my third one that I've purchased, so you know that I'm obsessed.

This was from Mac's limited edition collection that they did with Kelly and Sharon Osbourne. Surprisingly, this is still available on Mac's website for $21.50! Mac describes this shade as a "washed out lilac," but it does remind me a lot of Mac's Snob. This is in the shade Patent Pink and the other three colors are still available for purchase on Mac's website.
